Finished Crispin: The Cross of Lead today! Loved it, although some parts were pretty predictable and really how fast can this kid run because he was constantly running away from people chasing him. But all-in-all, I loved the book and have already started on the second book of the series.
And I have to say, it is amazing how much time I spend in the car! I didn't realize this until I started listening to my books on tape. Finished Crispin in less than a week, and am a quarter of the way done with Kira-Kira (more to come on this book) in less than a day. Will post soon on Kira-Kira, I just need to digest the story so far. I really like it, although slow moving and completely different than Crispin. More on the Dead End in Norvelt type of book without the funny and heartwarming characters and story.
